I am the Public Engagement Manager at Genetic Alliance UK. As part of my role, I am responsible for developing high-quality information resources for patients and families. I am also responsible for coordinating the delivery of project work, for example, I am working with patients and parents to help them establish peer support networks or patient groups for rare and genetic conditions. My role also involves ensuring informed patient voice is central to our work, this includes exploring patient attitudes to genome sequencing and genome editing. I hold a PhD in Developmental Biology and a degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology.
